What is the Greater Nottingham Business Alliance (GNBA)?
 
GNBA is an alliance of business organisations and leading businesses in the Greater Nottingham Partnership area.
 
GNBA Mission Statement
 
GNBA's mission is to foster economic development and regeneration through enhancing business competitiveness.
 
GNBA Key Objectives
 
  • To facilitate business input into the Greater Nottingham Partnership
  • To articulate the voice and concerns of business
  • To mobilise business to develop and support agreed strategic agendas
  • To ensure the business voice is heard, understood and responded to by key agencies that shape future action
  • To inform and communicate both within and beyond the business community
 
The GNBA and the GNP
 
The Greater Nottingham Partnership is a business-led organisation.  GNBA provides five of the 15 Directors on the GNP Board, including the GNP Chair.
 
This ensures a strong business involvement and focus at sub-regional strategic level.
 
The GNBA Executive
 
The GNBA has an Executive of 15 representatives from member organisations.  The Executive meets monthly to consider issues and develop strategy.  Sub groups are formed on an as-needed basis, to deal with specific issues.
